By completing the attached registration form and agreeing to participate in the Event, I hereby:

• Confirm that my general health is good and that there is nothing which renders me unfit to participate in the Event;

• Acknowledge and agree that the sport of skateboarding involves certain inherent risks and dangers, including physical injury, death or property damage. I understand that despite the implementation of safety measures, accidents and injuries can occur and I fully accept responsibility for all such risks as a condition of participation;

• Understand and accept that Factor 31 FZE representing “Cariuma” and any other organisation responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Event (collectively the “Event Organiser”), does not accept any liability of any sort for bodily injury or death sustained by me or for any loss or damage to any of my property or possessions howsoever caused;

• Agree to indemnify the Event Organiser and their directors, employees, agents, suppliers, contractors and intermediaries and any person acting under its permission or authority from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, losses, damages or expenses of any kind resulting from or relating to my participation in the Event;

• Confirm that I have read and understood the health and safety rules and procedures applicable to the Event and I agree to abide by them. I understand that any violation of these rules and procedures will result in my immediate disqualification from the Event and that I will not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid or compensation of any sort;

• Agree to return all equipment provided by the Organiser to the Organiser immediately upon completion of the Event and in the same condition that I received it and agree that in the event of any damage, I shall be responsible for the full replacement cost of the equipment;

• Grant permission to the Event Organiser to use my image, likeness and voice in any and all forms of media, including but not limited to photographs, videos, audio recordings and digital images for any purpose. I understand that my image, likeness and voice may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. I acknowledge that Factor 31 FZE is the sole owner of all rights in and to the materials in which my image, likeness, or voice appears and that I have no rights or interests therein. I release and discharge the Event Organiser, its representatives, employees and any person acting under its permission or authority from any and all claims, actions and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of my image, likeness or voice including but not limited to any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of rights of publicity;

• Agree to wear appropriate clothing, safety equipment and a well-fitted helmet in order to participate in the Event and acknowledge that I will not be allowed to take part in the Event if my clothing, safety equipment or footwear is not deemed sufficient by the Event Organiser;

• Confirm that I am aged 18 years or older and acknowledge that I may be required to provide proof of age and evidence to verify my identity.
